The Kiski Valley Turkey Trot 5K Race and 1Mile Fun Run is a community event for the whole family to enjoy this Thanksgiving!  This race is for the serious or the casual runners or walkers of all ages.  It has become a great family outing to attend before the family gathering for a holiday feast. We are offering an on-site race that is digitally timed by Miles for Smiles on our 5K certified out and back course at Kunkle Park, Apollo PA.  We are also offering a virtual option for those who wish to participate at their own location on their own timing. (Virtual Option is for 5K Registrations only)

Our Inspiration – Jenna’s StoryJenna - Main Page

This race benefits the Kiski Area Youth Network that was inspired by the life and faith story of Jenna Prusia.  Jenna was a junior at Kiski Area High School when she lost her life on December 28, 2012 in a sled riding accident.  Jenna had a deep faith in God and love for her friends and classmates at Kiski.  KAYN was started to share Jenna’s faith story and help teens in our community to navigate life and the challenges that teens face growing up in an ever changing world.  Come run to remember Jenna and honor a young life lived well!
